Liberty & The Mustard Seed – Part I

It is in this time, as a young entrepreneur in the United States of America, I say it’s time to take action.  This is for every individual that I can reach, with the INCENTIVE of creating an existence and livelihood based on liberty and freedom. We are indeed what we create.  We are the economy.  We are the educational system.  We are the political system.  We – you and me –the citizens of this great country – are the solution to our current ills.  I will not stand by the wayside and HOPE for anyone to save me.  I trust that you will not either.  It truly is up to us.  Here is the plan of how we can do that.

I have had the opportunity to create and operate a small business for over four years now.  It has been the hardest endeavor that I could have chosen for a “career path”.  It is also the most profitable.   I love challenges, I love competition, and I love being a part of educating my community and country as a media-resource.  With our publication, The Good American Post, we are educating communities about Liberty & Sustainability, while providing positive information about our citizens and students, and promoting small-businesses that are the backbone of our country.  There are a couple of things I believe in whole-heartedly: Risk, Reward, and Liberty.

Independent Thinking at The Good American Post

By Tisha Casida

Is it possible to both believe in preserving the environment and believe in liberty?

Is it possible to not believe in climate change but to believe that we should not pollute our air as much?

Is it possible to not believe in regulating carbon emissions but like the idea of electric cars?

Is it possible to both want to recycle and believe that the free-market will be the best vehicle to embrace the recycling industry?

Is it possible to eat organic and be a conservative-thinker?

Is it possible to be a “tree-hugger” and want to protect our second-amendment rights?

Is it possible to be a border-line vegetarian but love to hunt?

At The Good American Post, we sure think so.  Our publication embraces independent thinkers who LOVE LIBERTY and LOVE OUR FREE MARKET.  Those are the two things we stand by – our constitution and our economy – the rest is up to us, the American people to continually build and protect.

You will not hear us damning any group of people for their beliefs or their political ideologies.  You WILL hear us promoting and protecting our constitution and our free-market.

And yes, we believe that you can love sustainability and be a capitalist at the same time.

We want to hear from you, come and join us on our blog.

Praise the 2nd Amendment & The Right to Carry

By Tisha Casida

I was not aware that there were such things as “gun-free” zones on military bases.  I guess I should have known, but I didn’t.

The tragedy at Fort Hood is testament that such a policy does not protect anyone except for the senseless murderers who don’t follow laws in the first place.

In a commentary by Jacob G. Hornberger, the excellent point is raised,

“As libertarians have pointed out, time and time again, would-be murderers don’t give a hoot for gun-control laws. At the risk of belaboring the obvious, if would-be murderers are willing to violate laws against murder, it is certain that they will have no reservations about violating gun-control laws.

Therefore, what gun control accomplishes is a disarming of people who would otherwise have the ability to defend themselves from would-be murderers. The peaceful, law-abiding citizenry is forced into simply dodging bullets from the murderer’s illegally possessed guns until the cops arrive”

The fact that many of our servicemen and women cannot carry arms on a military base is appalling and stupid, in my opinion.  Everyone has a right to protect themselves, as states in the Constitution of the United States of America.

The right to carry arms is important to our liberty, it is actually essential to our liberty.  God Bless the NRA, The Oathkeepers, the Second Amendment Foundation, and every other group that is working hard to protect our Constitution and the Second Amendment.
